Excellent summation.

While most of us who follow the team on a regular basis are not surprised to be at 3-2 and favored to win all but one (VCU) of our remaining OOC games, I do fear rebounding - or better yet lack of rebounding - could soon spell trouble - big trouble. Unless, as you say, we employ - even if on a part time basis - zone coverage techniques. Our comeuppance could come next week when we take on the Bobcats of Quinnipiac. It'll be our second trip into Connecticut in 48 hours and we'll be up against a well-rested (8 days off) rebounding machine. The Bobcats happen to own a 11.5 rebounding edge on their opponents this year and have pulled down an average of 11.6 offensive boards/game. In fact, they have yet to be outrebounded. Their opponents included the likes of UConn and George Mason. They start 3 seniors, 1 junior and 1 sophomore. None stand taller than 6'7." Perhaps we had better be prepared to take notes.

Oh yeah, the last time we traveled up to the TD Bank Sports Center in Hamden (CT), we walked away 6-point losers. Quinnipiac out-rebounded us that day 60-34.

Man, why can't we get someone who can muscle and is taller than 6'10"? For us to take 'the next step' we need that type of player. I know it's not easy getting that guy with the limited pool to fish in, but with Lehigh now getting some 'cred' in the basketball world, one would hope we could land a 'big one' soon!

Suggestion
I tend to use The Latest Things Lehigh Fans Are Talking About as a reference to determine whether any new postings have occured. It appears though that any postings to old threads do not show up here so I have to go to each category to find new postings. Can this be resolved?
