Just eard that Dan passed away recently. A-A OL for Lehigh in 73. Any who have gone to the King of Tailgates will know Dan. Much too young.

I can’t find an online obituary for Dan … so I hope it’s not true.

Yes. Dan died on January 3 in Palm Beach, FL. Pancreatic cancer is a killer if not caught very early. We all had hope that his was caught “soon enough” to be eligible for a special procedure in Houston, but the “numbers” went south in early fall and the surgery was called off. Fortunately, we had a great gathering of former teammates after the Bucknell game. Even former Head Coach Fred Dunlap made the trip down from Colgate. This has been a tough year. Too many contemporaries left us this year. A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at Packer Chapel on Saturday, January 21 at 10:30 a.m.
