Per Verbal Commits and Twitter…. Shane Acoveno of Honesdale Pa. 6’6″, 190 lb. “power forward”. Delaware Valley High School. Does anyone know anything about young Mr. Acoveno? In any event, welcome aboard Shane!

After a quick search by my Google Gremlins :), Shane undersized but a very athletic player. From local papers he had interest from a number of PL coaches.
Video is impressive even if competition is not. He has serious hops and a decent shot. How well he can transit up to D 1 remains to be seen.

Question. What determines a walk on. Do kids have to try out or how does this work. I mean season just ended. Off-season program hasn’t even begun yet

He is a preferred WO ie he has been recruited to come to LU as a WO. JJ was already a student at LU when brought on as a WO.

Just means he was actively recruited by staff. Some may be able to earn a schollie in later years.
