Opens this week. With baseball and softball having down years, it will be lacrosse and football for the Spring semester and the afterglow of a great basketball season wtith the nagging worry that Doc and/or CJ may be elsewhwere.

Can’t worry over that which you have no control. If the right proposal comes along, Reed would be nuts to not try his hand in going up the rung. But, I think it has to be the right proposal. He’s set up real well right now, with a great team in the wings for next year. Very doubtful, CJ leaves a year early. While he has a lot of skill, he also needs more seasoning. And softball can still have a great year. They had a tough “pre” season last year, tool. Baseball was always projected as a rebuilding year. Lax on the verge of a huge season–comparable to basketball if they play it right.

I just want to say that if Reed does leave this year or anytime soon, I think the first call should be placed to Matt Logie, former all league LU player, assistant coach, associate head coach, and most recently the conference coach of the year in his first year as a head man out at Whitworth College.
