Re: Over-Coaching?
8 guys *is* a significant number -- it's 10%. Almost 1 per weight class on average and I'll wager it will hit that level sooner than later. But 72 were not freshman and that is an even more significant number. NCAA for sure favors experience. My two favorite freshmen to win, Don Rohn Hellertown Hig...

Re: The AFTERGLOW
If you can produce All Americans in Brookings, SD which I have been to, you are one hell of a coach and Bono and Hahn have. Hahn will be on short list of Big 10 programs as they become open. I have been vocal that I believe Damian Hahn should be LEHIGH head coach when Pat retires.

Re: BELIEVE IT OR NOT!!!
I have always advocated expanding search for elite wrestlers, but reality is that you need to own the 100 mile radius around your campus. Everyone comes to the Lehigh Valley to recruit. Just look at the schools, Oregon State, Nebraska, Michigan, Penn State, Cornell, Virginia Tech, Missouri and so on...

Re: Stanich
Stanich is all about finding a weightclass next year. Can he make the jump to 141? That is going up 16lbs when most guys are coming down 16lbs. A huge difference in strength and type of wrestling. Then he has to win the spot over Hines and Bailey. It is hard to sit NCAA points, but the reality is he...

Re: Transfer portal
Well...the top portal prospect took all of 2 days to disappear, Dean Hamiti. 165 Caleb Fish ranked #16 is a graduating business major. Plenty of option is COB. He would be an upgrade over Mays. 157 Chase Saldate was a premier recruit out of CA. Less of priority with Max, who I expect to wrestle his ...

Re: 2024-2025 Lineup
There is talent in the portal at weight we need it. Will be interesting if Pat goes all out to land some of them. Always nice when a home grown cracks into the lineup and produces, but it is never a given. I'd take an 149 Alvarez or 165 Hamiti any day with shot they produce for that year they come f...

Re: Transfer portal
Don't know interest either way. These are the good ones at weights Lehigh could use. Highest ranking in career. #8 149 Sammy Alvarez by way of Rutgers/Oklahoma State. Has 1 year left. Was an elite coming out of high school. Did well first few years at Rutgers. #15 157/165 Jason Kraisser Former Rd16....
