Re: Stanich
Just rewatched his consi bout vs Ramos. Last year Ramos was a finalist who put Spencer Lee on his back twice and pinned him. Luke totally shut down his offense, and took it right to him - getting off the first shot of the bout less than 30 seconds in. This kid is fearless.

Re: Transfer portal
Yes, it's him. He was always sort of an enigma. An absolute stud in HS but also the consummate tweener. He did his wresting at 220 but at the time was rumored to go 197 based on the Pan Am games I think. By now, he is too big for 197 and likely too small for 285 but who knows. Does anyone know exac...

Stanich overpowered by a guy he beat earlier in the year. Too sucked out this close to weigh-ins? Can he rehydrate for 5th/6th match

Re: Scared Money Don't Make No Money
Stanich really came on as the day progressed. Solid performance. Crookham may have been scouted but he was extremely tentative which is out of character leading me to believe he is protecting some kind of injury. Beard definitely injured. Tough hombre who might have MFF out once he won in the blood...

Re: NCAA Championships Day 2 Session 4... THE BLOOD ROUND
Next year Aaron Brooks, Trent Hidlay, Lou DePrez, Jacob Cardenas, and Tanner Sloan will all be gone. Rocky Elam back - but the weight definitely clears out for Beard somewhat.
It's great he made AA, but I (and I'm sure he) was hoping for a higher finish - a little bit of vindication for last year.

Re: Scared Money Don't Make No Money
Agreed.Great wrestler, but predictable. Good thing is, he's got three more years, and he WILL be a National Champ. Let's face it - when Vito is on, he's the best in the world, and he was on last night.
