Re: Nationals Schedule
I can't help it, I'm a John Smith fan. Zeke on the other hand causes me resentments. I can't go to Nationals and my work schedule won't allow me to watch while it's happening. I would very much like to go back and watch all of the matches. Anyone know the best way to do that?

Re: End of an Era
I think the best idea I've heard is EIWA and ACC merging. The big loss to me is Cornell. They were our main competitor and always raised the level of the conference. But Va. Tech, NC State, North Carolina etc. are good academic schools, and Va. Tech is a school that has good recruiting. The travel w...

Re: Week-End Salvo
To me,it’s a regrettable fallacy to go with “the whole dual meet season is practice for the big March tournament cheese” and its attempt to present these two radically different things as all one big schmeer. Does my whole life culminate in my birthday? Does the meaning of my life experiences revea...

Re: Week-End Salvo
But one thing for sure, Penn St. will be #1 again. I kind of prefer not knowing. It takes the sport out of it for me when the same team wins it every year. It's probably a lot like when Iowa won it every year or when Okie St won it what like 5 years in a row. Maybe Penn St. could join Cornell, Princ...

Re: Post Match Interviews
Many of the post-match wrestling interviews sound the same. “But, you know, none of this matters unless I get a national title. So, the work doesn’t stop yet.” "It's all practice for Kansas City." "Just working to make sure my body feels right so I can stand on top of the podium.&quo...

Re: End of an Era
>>>>>> In his Flo interview Grey included a comment about focusing in the future on growing the Ivy wrestling tournament—————which makes no sense unless they somehow convince Dartmouth and Yale to add wrestling———which, imo, is the longest of long shots. I'm glad someone else caught that, I asked m...

Re: It sure does feel like we won!
It really does feel like we won for all of those reasons. We’ve talked about the excitement of Crookham’s finals match but Griffin’s 3/4th place match was a real barnburner also. Good to see Griffin with some upper body takedowns in that match in addition to his usual stellar ground game. It’s a gr...

Re: Penn
They are not very nice, about anything and bad Karma invites bad Karma. Arrogance doesn't have much of a place in this sport. You always have to prove iy on the mat. Agree with that George - incidentally I ended up seated right behind Lucas Revano's parents and sister during session #2 (they rushed...
