Re: Lehigh Valley Open
Hutch was not exactly unknown to Coaches. As someone said, he had gone thru summer training at AWP, which I gather is a lot like Enlisted man's basic training, but tougher. Then left the academy to enter Lehigh on time. But he had been recruited to wrestle at Lehigh. He occasionally practiced with t...

Re: Columbia Head Coach Opening
Harvard, Princeton, different time received some kind of number 1 ranking. MIT and Yale, also. Never have I seen Stanford ranked #1. Cal Tech? One or two of the Claremonts, although not as a whole. Notre Dame? Chicago, Case-Western, Washington (of St Louis) Although Notre Dame and USC are really goo...

Re: Over-Coaching?
I concur and PA was similar until around 1973, but it did take until 70s to allow any Catholic schools in. Now even a few former Preps have migrated to PIAA like Milton Hershey School and Church Farm School. Would love to see PIAA to go single event for Olympic individual sports. Do you really need...

Re: Lehigh @ US Open
Last year Skellinger won his event easily. Or was it under 17? In any case he was seeded #1. Trying to view that match, it kept ending for me, with less than 2 minutes gone. Re: U.S. OLYMPIC TEAM TRIALS
Not surprising that Nits Fans would boo Burroughs. Maybe I was the only one on this forum who was at the Dec 1988 dual at Rec Hall? John Epperly(we all remember how often he was injured) took down Dernlan, within seconds, right on the center circle. He hit his Fireman's Carry, so Dernlan was on his ...
