Women's softball had a big day today defeating a hapless NC A & T squad 17-0 in the opener but more important, hit 4 homers in defeating #24/25 JMU 6-2. They went 3-1 on the trip, losing to NC St yesterday.
Good news: Freshman Emily Cimino may be a force to be reckoned with hitting .484 with a 1.000 slugging % after 9 games. Her 4 HRs are more than anyone on the team hit all of last year.
Bad news: Gabi Nori didn't pitch on this trip. Pitching is getting very thin. Kittel was brought in relief in game 1
