Spencer entered the transfer portal today.

I've had enough bad news this week.

Any clues as to why? I saw TG really screaming at some players on the sideline at Bucknell and was wondering whether there might be any fallout from that. "Today's college athletes" aren't known for accepting what today's society might call 'verbal abuse'. In my day, it was normal.

Perhaps but I have mo real idea. I have heard if a lot of grumbling by frosh parents and talk of transferring.
As datruph opined, I hope this is not just football decisions. The portal is not without risk. If you get an offer is for a decent academic school or are you just concerned with a better football situation for yourself. Spencer had a boatload of offers so I guess family assumes the same interest will be there now.
I did hear of another frosh possible tramsfer. No indication that he has actually entered the portal.

Thanks Sunday. OSU rumor has been lurking since he entered portal. Wouldnt be shocked if OSU told Spencer they would take him if he went transfer.
So he and family went the play for pay route as a PWO over a free elite education.smh

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Tennessee offensive lineman Ryan Johnson has tweeted that he is entering the transfer portal and that “ït is time for me to start a new chapter in my life and in my football career.”

Because Johnson already has earned his degree, he could join another program as a graduate transfer and wouldn’t have to sit out a year.

Johnson started all 12 games for Tennessee in 2018 but has made only three starts as a junior this season. He did appear in all 12 regular-season games for the Volunteers this year while playing both guard spots.

HEY - let's dangle a Lehigh graduate degree in front of him. Afterward he could help coach our OL a couple of years.

Unless the PL rules have changed, I dont believe we can take grad transfers for football.
