Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Quick reminder
A 6'3 215. 3* QB. Sat at Toledo. Coming in as a Junior.

Lots of video. Strong arm. A drop back pocket passer. Not a good fit in Toledo's O. Caveat never saw the field.

For current QB's some kind of Spring season is crucial I think. QB group will be crowded next year.

Ahhh so the mystery is finally revealed. Welcome to the family Cross. Now if only this virus will allow all these players an opportunity to showcase their talent. I'll assume the his redshirt year comes on our dime in that I think he was listed as a redshirt freshman at Toledo last year.

Yes. Athletically he has 3 years. Possible I guess depending on his academic progress. Dont think PL counts a redshirt at the original college. It marks the PL career. I will check tho.

PL allows a transfer to compete in a 9th semester since his original registration at anither college, if he satisfies the academic need requirement.

Three-star prospect according to Scout.com and 247 Sports and the third-ranked prospect in West Virginia…Helped lead Wheeling Park to a state title as a sophomore in 2015, a year in which he threw for 2,249 yards, 27 touchdowns, and just six interceptions…For his career, Wilkinson accumulated 6,447 passing yards and 64 touchdowns, averaging 15.5 yards per attempt...His 2,406 passing yards as a senior were a career-best.

Rockets Media Guide - A spirited battle at the quarterback position Is likely with as many as five players vying to become the Rockets’ chief signal-caller. Senior Mitchell Guadagni and junior Eli Peters both saw significant action last season. Redshirt freshmen Carter Bradley and Cross Wilkinson have a year in the system now and will have an opportunity to prove themselves. Bradley missed spring ball due to an injury but is expected back for training camp. True freshman Dequan Finn, named “Mr. Football” in the state of Michigan in 2018, enrolled last January and joined the team for winter workouts and spring practice.
