Signing Day
Re: Signing Day
think his size maybe worked against him, listed at 180# but looks smaller, none the less, no substitute for speed and I like his potential
Re: Signing Day
I think it's a combination of things. He was hurt during his sophomore year so he didn't get to showcase his talents in a crucial year.
His junior year was very good but he he apparently working in a pass first offense. Their QB was offensive POY in the Shore Conference and they have a WO going to Rutgers and another with great stats. I think Jarrod got lost in the shuffle.
He should have an opportunity to display his talents at Lehigh and see how far it will take him. I'm just not sure where he should be playing. At the moment RB is pretty loaded and Hartman may be a difference maker. We already have 3 DBs in this class. Much the same can be said about Fields.
There are several recruits that may have an opportunity to prove their worth on special teams including returners.

Re: Signing Day
Just reading up on Pruitt. Plausible explanation. He also played at WR and DB. Where to slot him? RB seems like a log jam in front of him. Not much different at WR and DB.
Re: Signing Day
I thought the same, and his speed would be a huge asset as a kick returner, and a change of pace back to go with a downhill runner like Hartman is valuable also, gotta get that kind of speed on the field
Re: Signing Day
TG told Groller in today's Call that he still had a few spots to fill. Class will add more recruits . How many and what positions are the questions.
As a side note current PL discussions posit a 4 or 5 game schedule with a title game to determine playoff squad.

Re: Signing Day
To me, the obvious need is DL, which is probably the hardest to recruit. WR is interesting to me. There are none on your list. We recruited a lot of them over the last 2 years but it is also worth noting that Jones, Pruitt, Fields and even Lavelle have the potential of eventually ending up there.RichH wrote: ↑Thu Dec 17, 2020 12:00 pm What else xo we need to fill?

Robinson is going to be a beast at LB (my prediction) but I don't know much about Mathias nor what his future holds playing 2 sports so LB is also a position of need in my books.
