At this point, it really isn't. It is malpractice among the coaches, universities and league administrators to risk having any of the players injured and be lost for the very likely full fall schedule in a meaningless attempt to crown an illegitimate 2020/2021 "champion" . There is no way these players can be in the necessary condition to play football with the fits and starts, game on/game off, COVID protocols, etc. At this point, all decisions should be about what is best to have meaningful and successful fall 2021 football.
