It's early but of our 7 known HS commits, 6 are from PA and none live further than 1 hr 45 min away.

Do we still divide the staff up into recruiting area? Has our recruiting budget been cut?

I know and appreciate the value of getting local guys but are we ignoring the rest of the country for talent.

Again, it's early. Perhaps we will know more soon.
Coaches are still assigned territories Pa,NJ,Del,Md have always been our staple areas. We still recruit outside the Northeast. Fl, Ga,NCar,VA We have added TX to this group. Cahill has also emphasized the New England Preps. No surprise given his career.
With a new staff in new areas we'll have to wait to see the results. Can say Lehigh has offers out all around the country Noticed we are much more active in Indiana,Kentucky than we have been in the past.

Personally, given the current dynamics in college football, I like it! Recruit kids whose parents/family can become more engaged in the program and also develop a deeper bond with the school! Hopefully by offering kids who are familiar with Lehigh, and having friends and neighbors who respect the school's "greater good" casually reaffirms the school's quality reputation thus helping to build a stronger belief in their choice. For a school like Lehigh to be successful, at least until the transfer rule is reined in, they need to find kids who are willing to trust Lehigh to fulfill their academic, athletic and social goals while keeping family active in their pursuits.

I also think schools like Lehigh have a chance to re-image their Greek systems to get athletes to immerse themselves into the institution's fabric.

He published it on instagram.

Good size, good stats. Wide Receiver, if that is where he plays will be quite deep. He is also a DB, which may be a position of need.

There are 10.7 100 meter guys right within 40 miles of Bethlehem. A 4.4 guy in this era of speed training is not unheard of locally.

Lehigh did much better strategically which is to recruit the best they can land within 150 miles of Bethlehem. You capture NYC to Central PA. Southern Tier NY to Northern Maryland. In theory, you need 3 premier offense and 3 premier defense per class to build out a Championship team. The rest are role players and 2 deep.

I think Lehigh likely has landed a KR and PR guy and 2 deep option QB. Hopefully some of freshmen emerge as DB on 2 deep. Possibly a lineman. It will be tough to crack the starting lineup out of high school. Most will not have the knowledge of the game and upskilling in a short time frame to be freshman ready as a starter.

Overall, this class is solid. Get them all on board for strength and speed training back home.
