Yale

Post by grad81 » Tue Feb 02, 2021 8:49 am

Yale announced that they would not compete during the 2021 lacrosse season because they do not have enough players enrolled in the school. Apparently due to the school’s uncertainty around practice, etc. and the Ivy League guidelines, approximately 40 members of the team did not enroll for the spring semester leaving Yale with 8 players. TD Ierlan, the best FOGO in the country, will now transfer to Denver but will graduate with a Yale degree. Not sure how you can play for one school while earning a degree at another but who knows. Wouldn’t be surprised if none of the Ivy League schools end up playing this year.

Saw the transfer on twitter. Unusual situation. Guess he is not enrolled at Y so he can play. No clue how he graduates on time from Y.

if he needs only 12 or so credits, he can probably transfer credits from Denver to meet his requirements

He transferred from Albany to Yale first. I wonder how many of those credits were accepted by Yale. He will end up with a Yale degree with most likely more than half of his credits taken elsewhere. Not bad!
