Need a 165 in a very bad way if Mays leaves. Strange that he would put himself in the portal (assuming his academics pass muster) when the slot would seem to be his. Wonder if his portalizing (made that word up) is a bargaining chip.

2 available Barraclough and Amine. I would go with Barraclough. He is ready for his shot. He is academically stellar and has a high probability of being an All American.

Portal window is closed. Universities and coaches will have to assess how many scholarships they have left or what financial aid package they can throw toward graduate school students. I think we can still land a 165.

I'd be very surprised if we are on amine's radar. Barraclough seems like the the holy grail of this portal season for us. Hoping we'll get some intel from Deepthroat soon that serious talks are happening....

Quite possibly. But that would only be "bad" and not "very bad".

Portal closed. Elite athletes with announcement dates.
Shit or get off the pot time.

Best available for Lehigh's needs.

Athlete Rank 2024-25 Year Weight Transferring From
Andrew Alirez 3 Senior 141 Northern Colorado
Kyle Parco 3 Graduate 149 Arizona State
Cam Amine 7 Graduate 165 Michigan
Terrell Barraclough 8 Graduate 165 Penn State
Kyle Mosher 26 Graduate 165 Columbia
Connor Brady 24 Graduate 165 Virginia Tech
Carson Miller Freshman 165 Pitt FL and VA State Champion. Son of Wilkes/NCAA Qualifier and Nazareth wrestler Ron Miller. Uncle is 2x PA State Champion and Clemson wrestler Mike Miller. Good academics. Hard working guy from a great family.
Gerrit Nijenhuis 35 Senior 174 Oklahoma/Purdue 2x PIAA State Champion

We got R.Rogers who can try to win 174/184.

Seeing three available with AA status is hard to pass up. Hopefully we did outreach to them to see if there is an opportunity for a fit. I think academically and opportunity to wrestle with best fit is Barraclough. This guy will be coming hungry for his one and only shot at NCAA. He will be highly motivated and is an outstanding academic student.

By end of June, we shall see. I though getting 3 was essential. We just are not there in development yet for about 5 weight classes. Some have a shot over next 3 years, others it is time to move on.

TYLER KASAK not a Free-Agent yet but he might be the ODD man out in Penn State's MURDERER'S-ROW next year with the return of VanNess. Unless he believes he can beat him, or Bartlett at 141.

BECCA graduate probably had Lehigh on his short-list prior to pickin' PSU,.. but maybe he reconsiders.

Wishful thinking I suspect. I don't even think there was an alternative to Penn State on Tyler's list. He may have been born with a Penn State singlet. Like Haines, he forfeited his senior year to train with David Taylor. So if he ever decides to leave, I'm fairly certain where Plan B lies.

BTW, Is Bartlett coming back? I'm never sure when COVID rules end.

20-21 covid yr. Incoming Frosh wrestles for free.

21-22 normal red shirt year

22-23, 23-24, 24-25, 25-26 normal 4 years, so hopefully next year, ends it, but who knows for sure.

Didn't Kasak's family move to State College? That's some NitLion pride. :(
But doesn't mean LU is out of the question if his mind wanders.
