Regarding transfers -- after the 2018 season I received an e-mail from an EIWA wrestler who was looking to transfer. He contacted me to ask if the EIWA had any restrictions regarding transfers. I had no idea when he asked, but the answer is no. I pointed him to the NCAA transfer guidelines (step 1, notify your current school that you're seeking a transfer).

After all that, he stayed at his school and wrestled against us during the 2019 season. So just because you may hear that a guy is seeking to transfer doesn't mean that he does.

I am hopeful we'll see JH back in a few weeks. However, the Karam situation is troubling. Supposedly, academics because of new University criteria and not NCAA?

Weiler definitely hurt his left shoulder at Cornell. Noticeable when it occurred on take down landing on elbow. Big ice bag afterward. I am sure it limited his ability the rest of that bout. Hopefully, something Mr. Magic Foley can address.
