Arizona State's not going to happen. No air travel and no overnight stays.

Dr Leonard McCoy would oppose the first suggestion.

I guess coach was better than Red Campbell!

As of now, does the EIWA plan allow for spectators at duals and at the tournament?

I asked that exact question, in regard to the tournament, during Monday's virtual meeting. If I ask again in a month I might get an answer.

So let me get this straight:

1. Lehigh's season will start January 2, 2021 wrestling Hofstra somewhere in Philadelphia.
2. The "season" will last approximately 7 weeks with a TBD dual schedule.
3. A one day EIWA tournament, minus the Ivy League, will be held 2/26 at a muti - use sports facility in Lancaster, PA. called Spooky Nook.
4. One month later the Nationals will be held in St. Louis.
5. It is unlikely that fans will be allowed to attend any events.

Correct, except for the following --

1. Hofstra released its schedule yesterday and shows the Lehigh dual in Bethlehem.

2. That's about right. I've seen the schedule but it's still tentative so I'm not sharing it. It looks kind of like a 1960s schedule and the team did just fine in those years.

3. All tentative, no contracts signed at this time and still needs approval by all the committees that make up the EIWA. Spooky Nook is in Manheim, not Lancaster.

4. NCAAs will be held three weeks later.

5. That has not yet been determined. What would be the harm in allowing vaccinated fans to attend?

It is not clear that vaccinated people cannot be carriers and thus also could be contagious.

Spooky Nook is pronounced, well --- Spook is sounded to rhyme with nook not nuke.

I think that was the home (logically considering strength of athletes), of US Field Hockey. In the logic so commonly demonstrated by USOC, they moved it to the SouthEast. And I don't mean West Chester

And the only people that would be fully vaccinated by EIWAs would be some first responders and possibly a few nursing home residents. Of course, that could mean a large portion of the Lehigh fan base :D . I might be in line for my first dose by then but the least I've heard is about 5 weeks from then and more likely 6-8 weeks.
