"3. All tentative, no contracts signed at this time and still needs approval by all the committees that make up the EIWA. Spooky Nook is in Manheim, not Lancaster."

My late father, Lehigh Class of '47, was a good friend of Paul Stern - one of the 4 founders of Manheim Auto Auctions back in the 1940's. He had one hell of a car collection/museum when I met him as a kid in the early 1960's. My dad and uncle - Lehigh Class of 1940, would always meet up with Paul Stern for the EIWA's, which is how I met him, and how I first started following wrestling (this is the wrestling connection :D ). He also used to run a tennis tournament that drew international players in Manheim every year that my dad and uncle would compete in.

And the only people that would be fully vaccinated by EIWAs would be some first responders and possibly a few nursing home residents. Of course, that could mean a large portion of the Lehigh fan base :D . I might be in line for my first dose by then but the least I've heard is about 5 weeks from then and more likely 6-8 weeks.
The question included NCAAs, three weeks after EIWAs. The NY Times ran a piece several days ago with a model that had me pretty high up on Virginia's list, simply based on age and weight. Pzifer's two doses are supposed to be given three weeks apart, with 95% protection a week after the second dose. So if you get your first shot towards the end of January you'd be in good shape by EIWAs.

When you include that half the population is going to refuse vaccination, the schedule for those willing to get the shots speeds up markedly. The Times model (https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/202 ... eline.html) shows me in 4,401st place in my home county, where half the folks don't believe the Sun rises in the east. So I could probably get my first dose within a month after it becomes available, maybe sooner.

Bill Gates is using COVID-19 to install human trackers so no way I'm getting vaccinated.

The amounts of doses are lower than expected so good luck.

If half don't vaccinate (which is what seems to be the case) that would weigh against bringing fans in anyway.

Only those who bring their proof-of-vax cards with them, anyway.

5. That has not yet been determined. What would be the harm in allowing vaccinated fans to attend?
1. Our Governor just eliminated our first match+. No wrestling practice until after 1/4/21.
5. I am scared that some idiot will claim that he was vaccinated and attend.
I hate to say it but ZERO attendance EIWA would be better than nothing. Maybe EIWA could raise some $$$
by having CBSSN broadcast the tournament.
If vaccine becomes available, this fat old fart with high blood pressure will attempt to get it.

Listen, guys & gals, I am not Mr Covid but would imagine you're all aware the beast just completed in the U.S. the world's worst-ever 3-day Covid death total, over 9,000 gone.

I do have Pat's tentative LU schedule, which had to be drafted before knowing the final answer on having any season. If you'd like to bet on postponements like college & pro football have endured, pony up.

Since not one word has been shared yet by LU Athletics about ticket sales, I'd be stunned if anyone's allowed to attend duals, possibly families, but that's up to the Gov (the real Mister Covid) and LU administration.

The freakin' virus doesn't give a rat's ass about feelings of sports fans.

Tentative 2021 LU Wrestling Schedule\
Jan 2 Sat Hofstra((H) 2 pm
Jan 9 Sat @Pitt 2 pm
Jan 15 Fri @ American
Jan 16 Sat @ Navy 2 pm
Jan 24 Sun Drexel (H) 2 pm
Jan 30 Sat Binghamton 2 pm
Feb. 6 Sat Army 6 pm
Feb 7 Sun Rider 2 Pm
Feb 14 Sun Bucknell 2 pm
Feb 27 Sat EIWA site, Manheim, PA
Mar 18-20 T/S NCAA St L.
(AU may be moved to Jan. 16)

But it does live in fear of Joe crushing it. Joe has located the virus, is talking about crushing it a lot, and the crushing will soon begin.

Flo has had the streaming right for the past several years. I don’t see CBSSN picking it up.

Last time I checked, Manheim was in LANCASTER COUNTY.
