I agree with MH that Lehigh has lost its way starting with Likens & the Board of Trustees has caved to socialist faculty & staff that dominate the campus.

This is no longer my Lehigh & like MH I have bled Brown & White my entire life. This was the last straw for me as this was unnecessary & political cowardness by the BOT. Trump will go down as one of the best presidents since WWII in foreign policy with no new wars & peace thru strength.
To be clear, MH couldn't give a toss about Donald Trump. How about we don't hand out "honorary degrees" to anyone as a policy? MH's alma mater's direction in general is what is in question. Impossible to support institutions of higher learning run by either political faction in a 90+% majority. MH has borne witness to what is being taught, and who is teaching it. There's no balance, there's no room for discussion, there's no nuance. It's a GD disgrace of an excuse for an education.

I can't find a record of one.

Maybe we should give him an honorary degree so that we can then rescind it.

Is there a way to ignore the rants of folks who say they are Lehigh Fans, but promise to give not a penny to the University (I assume their donations will go to Liberty)

At least I know Klehner has given some money to Lehigh.

Not a penny more than what they asked, er, demanded.

Wow!! This is so far down the rabbit hole I’m afraid you’ve lost touch with reality.

JAD77............we are to assume everyone's opinion is wrong except yours correct?

Not that I agree with what he wrote, but you show the side that drives many (yes, including me) crazy, "we are accepting of all man, equal voices, hold hands and sing".....unless of course you don't agree with us..... then FU and your opinion.......

the whole cancel culture thing is a bit disturbing, and I'm not talking about just the whacked decision by Lehigh to rescind Trump's honorary degree (again I am not a fan of Trump and like TMH could give a toss about Trump)............it's basically history being deleted to serve today's views (which could always change again)....the expectation of perfection in bygone era's......a person could have been 95% a perfect humanitarian and very progressive in their views for the time but if we find one reason to suspect some sort of black mark......they're gone, remove statue, take away degree, write them out of history book's......

We've lost the middle ground and the middle class....my two cents but we aren't better for it.......

not a big fan of politics on this board like many but this particular thread was basically started as a political thread.....

So....... you object to my comment, but not someone blaming the attempted insurrection Wednesday on Antifa? When anyone with a computer could see the posts coming from right wing websites discussing how they were going to storm the Capitol - occurring for weeks in advance? When every single person arrested so far has been a member of a right wing organization, and not an Antifa member in sight?

There is a huge difference between an opinion and a comment based upon nothing but conspiracy theories without a shred of evidence to support them. I respect other peoples opinion, but I don't respect conspiracy theories. There is a big difference.

I thought you engineers were taught how to evaluate evidence, and learn how to distinguish between good data and contaminated data. :D

I apologize if I'm just a little touchy about the subject, it's not every day that Congress has to run for their lives en masse and hide.
