Undersized 125 true frosh doing pretty well. Pushed the action against Pitt's starter and took him to ot. Lost by a couple to Navy's starter. Just wish he'd grow some - but not too much.

That's something I forgot to post on the "Is the sky falling" thread: Why did our senior starter at 125 just barely beat a true freshman whose best weight is probably 113?

Isn't Lane a junior eligibility wise and actually possibly a sophomore if he tries to get medical redshirt for his one lost year where he just wrestled 2 or 3 matches?

Yes.

WIN has Lane ranked 20th in today's release.

Navy's 125. Paetzell didn't wrestle.

**** I have only seen Sheldon on Youtube, but he looks like a gamer. However, those of us who have followed Lehigh for a long time know “small sized” 125s have to be really, really good to compete with opponents who normally weigh 145-50 and are up to 6-8 inches taller, (consider Bobby Weaver only being able to place 1x (3rd) giving up so much size. I seem to remember that Sheldon is not really young either, which makes any growth spurts not too likely. Anyway he has fire in his belly which is a good thing.

Question is, is Sheldon Closer in Size to Bobby Weaver or Darian Cruz?
