Taylor's opponent wasnt really the number 1 seed. In Pa seeding is only done in sectionals, or districts that don't have sectionals. If you look at the 13 weights in West Super, all 13 SW champs are shown as the #1 seed, All 13 NW guys are list as #2

Dante Frinzi also wins at 120 as a junior and moved on to Hershey

Any of you PA guys seen Nathan Taylor wrestle? How big is he?

He was a 215 lber last year, tall big frame kind of guy or more like Wood “short” (all relative) but powerful?

Looks tall enough to add 20-30 pounds of muscle without it getting in the way

I think that Taylor had to cut to make it to 215# last year because Brookville had Colby Whitehill who was a 2X PIAA Champ and Pitt recruit at HWT. I believe the staff said something about his not knowing how big he is since he wrestles like a lighter weight.

Hudl "lists" him at 6-3 250# for football

Here's an interesting fact that I just stumbled across: The assistant wrestling coach at Max Brignola's high school is none other than Billy George.

Edmondsen gets a decision and a fall in his 2 bouts in the PIAA team dual championships, which I had forgot about.

Earlies he did not wrestle in the quarterfinal against ND-GP. I don;t think ND brought much of their starters.

Brookville wrestled against Chestnut Ridge in the 1/8th finals. They Lost and Taylor got a fft.
