I just got back home after doing banking & food shopping after work.
Seeing Wood's path for a possible AA seemed very plausible (+ seeing what results Logan & Jakobsen had as well.)
After reading the results here, my hopes for watching some Hawkineer action on the mats tonite tanked.
(I'll still watch anyway. Who am I kidding, eh?)
When was the last time LEHIGH was shutout of any AA's? The last year of Greg's coaching tenure?
Or was it Pat's first season as head coach?
(I gotta check that one out... unless somebody beats me to the punch.)
It was a while when the season ended on a Friday afternoon for the B&W. :(

Oh, and this was with LU qualifying 10 via a gift and without the participation of the Ivies which would have sunk the team even lower in the standings.

You know the Dylan song, "The Times They are a Changin"? They've changed.

You were wrong- he didn't TRY! As Yoda said- There is no try.

2007, 2008, and 2009. So Strobel's last two years and Santoro's first year?

Now that their season is over and they're in St. Louis, I hope they at least get to try the ribs.

I remember the last time we had no one wrestling Saturday. In St. Louis as I recall my buddy and I going to Busch Stadium to take a tour rather than go back to the 'house of horrors'....One those f'ng years...Cheer for the WBB, LAX and Softball!

Not including last season's Covid shutdown of the NCAA's, it was Pat's 1st season as head coach.
(Set a dual record w/23 wins... 23-1. Came in 2nd @ the EIWA's w/ 2 champs. But came in 28th @ the NCAA's / no AA's.)

Very sad indeed & while this is a tough year upon which to base the future, one does have to assess whether the LVWC is accomplishing the objective to bring Lehigh back to its rightful place among the elite of College Wrestling?

Are the funds donated truly helping to improve our Lehigh wrestlers or are we just paying for post grad wrestlers to hang out in Bethlehem?

9 years since a Top 10 finish indicates it is time to reassess the situation from recruiting to LVWC mission accomplishments.

And if I'm reading them right, it was 2008 as the last time we didn't make it to Friday night.

Here is what I saw. The score was wrong for the whole match. It was 4-2 for Wood and the score board said 5-0 for Air Force.
