Wow, this guy is big. Jordan down 2-0 and taking injury time - looks like the ankle, which means Hendricksen can take down.

Now down 3-0

Now down 5-0. should have had the takedown, but Ericksen ends up with it. OUCH!!

Now down 2-6 at end of 2.

Now 5-6

Jordan loses 7-6. Hate to see Jordan go out like that. If he had been as aggressive in the first period as he was in the last, he probably would have won. He would have had Hillger from Wisconsin in the Round of 12.

Let's see if I got this right- There was a review to see if JW called for a TO before the TD was called and then AFA challenged that the TD should have been called before the TO?

They missed the call. The score was wrong. Wood won.

Unless there was sound on the video, how could the video tell?

Which call? I thought rear standing has no reaction time, so thought that could have been two. And think Jordan was in the position twice. He clearly was weak, could not execute a mat return.

NCAA and Tim Shiels get the Big Crappy Award.
1. Time clock system review is crap. Some were taking up to 10 minutes for review. Go with the stand-by hand clock and referee and assistant referee mat call. Campbell University Heil was essentially screwed twice. There were others.

2. Uniform mat skirting. That stupid walk path needs to go. Some mats had about 3 feet of mat skirting. Guess what, with current rules that one point of contact must be stay in bounds and wrestling can continue, depending where you went out of bounds was QUITE STATEGIC to protect against scoring.

NCAA has been shit throughout this tournament.

Was supposed to get take out Greek food tonight but between LU's results and having had trouble negotiating ESPN3's coverage I've somewhat lost my appetite. Eating leftover corned beef and cabbage instead.

Who was it that was talking about settling for one or two all americans and a top 20 finish?

Someone tried to grab a mat edge in one bout. Not enough mat where closest to the circle. Beckman, maybe it was Eric Hess, won a state title when an opponent grabbed a mat Edge

23rd right now, hard to imagine we will stay in the top 25, good chance we drop out of the top 30.

Who is going to tell Boomer if Bucknell finishes ahead of us???
