With my personnel at Johns Hopkins Hospital, I would do following.
Goals: Would like, Should, WILL

For discussion only. Who do you think LEHIGH would like, should recruit, will sign?

Start with 285 /220/195 , other weightclass to follow. I did not include wrestlers who verballed already. All the guys likely to be heavys by college graduation.

285
NR Year Name School State
2 Jr. Cole Deery Malvern Prep PA
4 So. Jim Mullen St. Joe's Regional NJ
19 Fr. Sean Kinney Nazareth PA
PA 4th Jr. William McChesney Greensburg Salem PA

Lehigh would like any of them. Should recruit Miullen and Kinney. Will land Kinney.

220
19 Jr. Dayton Pitzer Mt. Pleasant PA
5 So. Gavin Nelson Simley MN

Should recruit Pitzer. Will land neither.

195
5 Jr. Rylan Rogers Coeur D'Alene ID
6 Jr. Kolby Franklin Wyoming Seminary PA
7 Jr. Mac Stout Mt. Lebanon PA
11 Jr. Caden Rogers Malvern Prep PA
16 Jr. Wyatt Voelker W. Delaware IA
20 Jr. David Harper Baylor TN
2 So. Christian Carroll New Prairie IN
14 So. Jersey Robb Bixby OK

Should recruit them all. Will land 1 of the PA.
Hopefully get 2 years at 197.

Lehigh recruits `14 over 2 years and land 2.

I'm not sure what Johns Hopkins has to do with wrestling unless you are simply looking to name drop

I see no reason why to recruit any HWTs or 220# at this time. Wood will be wrestling next year. We have a PA state champion coming in to learn from him and a stud 220# coming the following year. The room is already top heavy with HWT depth. Besides, Deery will be playing football at Maryland next year. McChesney already has football as his priority (Lehigh has already extended an offer)

Yes 197# should be a priority. Rylan Rogers who wrestles for Blair would be a stretch financially in a year where we already have commitments from Crookham and Casale but we can always hope. Franklin is already up to 220# and I believe Casale beat him there last fall. Stout is committed to Princeton.
