You guys are getting tedious and making this subject intolerable to read.

Hoping you guys put an end to it.

PS - trying to curb my own urge to pontificate.

whiz wit: actually, I always try to look in the mirror. If I over-stepped, my apologies. However, in this case, it was a reasonable response to what I (and others) perceived as the kind of comment you would not have made face to face with coach. If that makes me a blowhard, bully etc, well, I can live with that.

(With apologies to LU808)

Funny, but I don't recall you brow beating posters who predicted the margin of LU losses to Penn State in recent years or those who went on record as to which overmatched LU wrestlers would lose to their opponents in various dual meets.

Brow beating? Hardly my thin-skinned friend. Virtually 100% of the time, posters who get challenged on posts made in poor taste, always claim censorship, cheer-leading, and now brow-beating......wouldn't it have been easier just to note the criticism, than trying to deflect blame to me? And your excuse of saying, in effect, others also post in poor taste, is classic.

This isn't Twitter. The wrestling community is small and while forums can be vicious, it hasn't been here. Again, I would like to hold up Cornell as a model. CU posters rarely post anything negative about anything to do with their program - publicly. The Max Dean transfer is a great example. I'm sure there was plenty of complaining amongst fans but from what I can tell it wasn't taken public. That has been my only point in all this. Keep criticisms private if at all possible. Of course, you can do anything you please....that is your right. But it also my right to take exception. On we go.

Cornell has outstanding information flow which eliminates a lot of the negativity. Koll shares inside stuff on a regular basis with the Dean situation just being the latest. Fans will speculate endlessly without reliable information.

>>>>>> Agree. But not all information is created equal. The reasons for the Dean departure differ significantly from that of Edmond Ruth; the latter was, and should have been, handled carefully. It still doesn't mean speculation should turn into unfounded public criticism. One might 'speculate' LU will have difficulty remaining a top 20 NCAA team in 21-22, but to make a public 'statement' that they won't isn't worthy of any self-respecting fan. More likely that comes from opposition camps like Penn State. Shouldn't be coming from our camp. Did I say I agreed with you?

Actually, the two Greeker bet was for top 15. But don't worry about it. I'm used to you misrepresenting my postings, ignoring my questions and changing the issue by now. I suppose those liberties are one of the benefits of being an oracle.

But a true Oracle knows what you're going to say before you say it! (At least couches to seem se)
