So guessing no Lane today, Hines a question mark or just a groin shot the other day and now good to go? Announcers seemed unsure, by the end of the match he seemed to be moving fine again.
What is our backup plan at 133 if Seymour has to wrestle 125 and Hines is out?
Still see us winning dual but with Brignola in, uncertainty at lower weights and continued uncertainty at upper weights (other than Wood) it sure does make this dual a lot more interesting….

Re: Army
Yeah, that would probably be correct if he is on weight…

Based upon Friday's disaster, a LEHIGH win would be an UPSET.Spladle1989 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 06, 2022 8:51 am Still see us winning dual but with Brignola in, uncertainty at lower weights and continued uncertainty at upper weights (other than Wood) it sure does make this dual a lot more interesting….
Since this is ARMY's only "official" home dual AND senior day, Christl Arena will be a Lion's den.
It will be interesting to see how our wrestlers respond after losing "winnable" matches on Friday.
Winning is definitely feasible if...............

>>>>>>>> Agree on all points. Abe should have no issue making 133 today (if needed.) I love Seymour's hustle.

Re: Army
I don’t see much of a drop off between Lane and Seymour at the moment other than Lane more likely to get 6 against certain guys….
Obviously a drop off at 133 if no Hines, especially since 133 not a strong weight for Army so giving up a “sure” win for a much less likely win….
Meyer has another one of those closely ranked matches…. Expect it to be a one to two pointer either way again coming right down to the end….
I still expect we win dual but could be uncomfortably close when it shouldn’t be…..may need to watch with sound off so i don’t have to listen to Ward’s tantrums….

Re: Army
Unfortunately, the in-match injury to Lane has nothing to do with his recent trend (over a month now) of failing to develop any sort of meaningful attack from neutral. Yes, he has faced some very good guys, but he's also supposed to be very good himself. He can be taken down by the better guys and now no one will take bottom against him. So that's a problem. Seymour has very good conditioning, is strong enough and doesn't shy away from engaging from neutral. If Pat goes that route, Seymour has a good upside entering the post-season. Most fans prefer Lane's length, but right now he's stuck in 'neutral' (pun intended.)
