I had a friend like that growing up, who was also incredibly smart, who became a world known eye surgeon. Unfortunately he died at 54, from a heart attack. Just too much internal stress on his body.
**** He was also tough as nails and even with growing up in a very tough area (Mt. Rainier, MD, just outside of Washington, DC), where everyone looked like The Fonz, in the 1960s, he never lost a fight even against much older and bigger guys. No one could hurt him or take the beatings he would administer.

and you think ya know TOMMY BRANDS! Follow this excellent interview in which he is candid, and probably the most introspective of any I've watched. Particularly like his alluding to WHY he is not residing on the FUNNY-FARM! :o

Even if Lee moves up and wins, Iowa still loses (maybe closer) so the upside just isn't there. Fans may want it, but fans want a lot of things.

Penn State wins this going away. They are that good. 4 national champs in the line-up and a group of super frosh that are ready for prime time themselves.

Yes, this Penn State team is ridiculously good, but Iowa won't go quietly. I'm hearing that super frosh Levi Haines (157) is redshirting and not wrestling for PSU tonight.

Iowa favored at 125. Name another weight that is certain. Not saying they won't win a few, but outside of Lee, they have no 'locks.'

Tossups: 141, 149, 157, 165, 285

Long odds for sure but if Iowa wins them all then they win the dual.
