I still like ties in almost any sport but baseball - and the championship finals of any other sport. The prospect of a tie adds an interesting dimension to sports, especially when there is a heavy favorite.
Somewhere I posted, except for bracketed dual meet tournaments, Dual meets ties should be broken only by the first 2 tiebreakers should be 1+2 (A+B?): unsportsmanlike conduct then number of bouts won.

Has any D1 wrestling program, other than OkSU, Iowa, PSU won won more than 2 consecutive Team titles in the individual tourney? I Think IoSU won 2 lost 1 won 2.

I believe the most consecutive championships was Arkansas Indoor T+F. I don't know if that had an ill effect on that sport, but:

Did not UCLA win 8 Basketball titles in 9 years? It really seemed like that sport became much more popular when that dynasty ended.

Missouri is rugged. Rocky Elam will be a tough out for Beard.

No Yianni, shocking lol (quack)….you know there will be some unprovable reason given but it’s not a good look for wrestling…..and what a crappy presentation this is….. scoreboard not working, no clock, no riding time clock…. Names arent even right …..Flo is a struggle…..

Will be interesting to see if Foca wrestles Smith….
