Can’t recall the exact bout — it may have been the loss to Cory Day — but he came off the mat furious with himself. That shows he cares. Since then, he’s been wrestling at a higher level. Started with a close loss to NCAA finalist Schultz and has continued. Maybe Zack kicks him in the nuts before every match.
When a guy his size adds a little nasty and gets after it, he’s hard to handle. Emphasis on the nasty part. IMO, that’s what was missing.
