Maybe Mookie meant they're sending all who would start anywhere else.

Re: Journeyman on 11/12
Preliminary brackets up. Being in a pool doesn't mean you wrestle everyone in the pool. No idea if any cross-pool matches will occur. Of interest
to Lehigh, I presume:
125: Seymour in Pool A with Ungar, Diakomihalis, Sotelo, and Miller
133: McGonagal and Crookham in Pool A with Arujau, Colaiocco
141: Hines in Pool B with Kasak, Bailey in D with whoever
149: Griffin in Pool A with Van Ness, Reinsel in B with Parco and Handlovic, Leia in C and Munch in D
157: Frinzi and Brignola in A with Haines and Revano
165: Logan in A with Ramirez
184: Davis in A with Truax, Valencia, Hale, Rogers in B
197: Beard in A with Hidlay and Urbas
285: Taylor in A with Kerkvliet, Trephan

If you look at Flo Arena they separate pools into pools. I'm trying to remember but they likely put 1/4/5 in 125A Pool A and 2/3/6 in 125A Pool B. Then they crossover the same Pool placers.NothingMeaningful wrote: ↑Fri Nov 10, 2023 5:56 am Preliminary brackets up. Being in a pool doesn't mean you wrestle everyone in the pool. Re: Journeyman on 11/12
Of note to me:
No Stanich
No Repos
No Mays
Think we know who's redshirting, and if that's the case not thrilled with that decision......we are stuck in the past...
No 174 lber for Lehigh
Definitely trying to avoid some "top" matches and avoiding most PSU/Cornell match ups......having Haines in A flight and Shapiro and Teemer in B flight is example....Greg D. and Ungar in A and Robert Howard in B another.....at 141 Hines in B bracket while guys like Dante Frinzi and David Evans in A bracket.......

Starocci is lucky he's not facing Lawrence.
Re: Journeyman on 11/12
Brignola competing would seem to mean he is not redshirting?
Stanich redshirting would almost mean to me that coaches are confident he will be able to stay at 125, or grow a lot? (2 weight classes.

Re: Journeyman on 11/12
They better be damn confident he can hold 125 or makes zero sense...counting on overall frame growth of an 18/19 year old is not a plan.......sure you can hope to make him stronger/thicker but not longer and taller.....
Even if he can't if he is clearly better at 125 than Seymour (and I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise) then he should be wrestling if he wants to and has no academic issues......
