That's true, but either way it ended with some Beard punishment - over a starter, not just a backup for Mt. Schultz. And the forfeit makes the final score look a little better for LU on paper. Can't take too much satisfaction in any of that, though. It was a bad loss. Very disappointing.

I feel like I'm out of the loop when it comes to Jones. Why is he known around here as such an a-hole?

Wilt with TD - there goes shutout.

And another TD, plus back points

Wilt 10-5.

Both shutouts gone
... I hope you didn't go to FanDuel w/that, did ya?
(AND Beard was coming up too!)

And they’ve got Nebraska on Sunday.

But hey, does anybody remember that old ad "Schunke, what a schunk o Schocolate"?
I do remember that. Loved Chunkys too. Jones just needs some love and and a lot of therapy. An easy guy to dislike.

You will need a protractor, a graduated cylinder, and an advanced physics textbook to follow along.

Honest question but how much does travel and jet lag impact performance on the mat? Arizona St. never seemed up to the task when they traveled East either if memory serves me correctly.

Jet Lag should not be a big factor when traveling 2 zones west. But the travel?

Note: on Wrestle State AzSU went up 5 spots. How much did we go down? We went up 3 spots??? Flipped with South Dakota ST

We don't normally travel across 2 or 3 time zones however We beat Arizona St. both times they came here and lost to them both times we flew out there.

A couple of years ago we flew out to Oregon to begin the season and promptly lost to Campbell. After some time to acclimate we then beat Oregon St. #19 Oregon St then came here last year and got beat.

Some may argue home mat advantage. I think the travel is telling in wrestling.
