Basketball opened yesterday; when the season ends doesn't matter. But yes, I also think it makes sense to wait until the end of the season.

Yeah...would be nice if NCAA did not open portal while NCAA Basketball and NCAA wrestling are going on.
However, they have to give enough time for students to announce, teams to express interest and opportunity for them to apply to the college they want.
