Scared Money Don't Make No Money

Crookham has wrestled very conservatively the entire tournament. Time to open up, let it rip and finish a strong 3rd.

Stanich has been sensational and is the best Lehigh freshman since Burley. Now Lehigh only needs 8 other recruits just like him.

Vito game planned and timed him perfectly, but Ryan was tight as a drum.

Agreed.Great wrestler, but predictable. Good thing is, he's got three more years, and he WILL be a National Champ. Let's face it - when Vito is on, he's the best in the world, and he was on last night.

Stanich really came on as the day progressed. Solid performance.
Crookham may have been scouted but he was extremely tentative which is out of character leading me to believe he is protecting some kind of injury.
Beard definitely injured. Tough hombre who might have MFF out once he won in the blood round but didn’t. Bravo Zulu.
Taylor’s disappointment was tough to watch. He knew what he did (or didn’t do) but sometimes you just compliment your opponent, which is certainly the case here. That guy from Campbell was a tough minded, athletic wrestler and deserved to win. Never give up. Taylor just didn’t have the gas tank to stay with him all the way to the end in regulation. Props to Campbell.

Three AAs is terrific. Two fighting for 3rd and Beard in the 7/8 bout where he may indeed MFF.

Tremendous year. Ridiculously tough tournament. Lovett, O’Toole both go down. Lehigh with 3 AAs should be over joyed. Well done.

Great assessment. I actually thought, that of the 4 Lehigh wrestlers yesterday, the only one that didn't look tentative was Stanich. Even Nate wasn't as aggressive as usual - though until that last shot - I thought he wrestled Schultz well. Nate had an awesome year - he's got two more years to get on the podium.

And the tournament - wow!! - make one little mistake and you're toast.

UPenn currently sitting in 37th place with 8 points

Put the money on the table this morning and let it ride (In the words of Stanich…just want to have some fun wrestling…..last big weight cut at 125….Five Guys Burgers await to hopefully celebrate taking 3rd as a true freshman)

Hear, hear... they can't take away his AA status.
He CAN control what place it's going to be (6Th, 5th, 4th, or 3rd.)
Finish Strong!
