Currently, LEHIGH is in 14th place, and finishes w/36.5 points...
However, No Iowa is just behind the B&W w/34.5 and Keckheisen in the finals... favored to win 184.

But a nice finish for LEHIGH... tied w/ the Big Red for #'s of AA's.

Good year. They provided some exciting moments this year.
But still waiting for a year when they meet or exceed their seeds at nationals.
They tend not to, which disappoints.

Really like to think we can crack into top ten next year in Philly, with at least one champion.

He didn't run at the end of his bout with Frost when he was only up by 3. Somebody must have told him that running away is a bad look.
Not Humphreys.

HE did look a lot better in evening matches, so hopefully this little extra time is enough.
His championship bracket loss was an evening match.

To heck with “the look”, if they are not going to call stalling in the last 15-20 seconds there are ways to avoid without backing up or running away. Even then, it’s the opponents fault for not scoring earlier in the match. I cannot believe we don’t teach our guys that; yet, we’ve seen our guys lose for not wrestling smart. Which isn’t a good look either.

Losses today: optics, top 5 seeding "expectations", Beard becoming good at tournaments suddenly.
Wins today: 3 All-Americans (we had zero returning AAs). Top 15 NCAA finish likely (we were ranked 23rd this season iirc). Two freshmen in the top 5. What a season folks. Pass the cheesesteaks

A lot to be happy about as I depart Kansas City. A great scene as Luke departed through the tunnel after winning his 5th place match. Some kids wanted his autograph but they couldn’t reach each other so Zach had to intervene. He could reach up and get from the kids, hand to Luke then reach it back up.
