P.S. No video of the wrestle offs is ridiculous. This is 2019.
I think what he meant is that we rather see some competitive matches rather than Kutler or Wood dismantling someone. Lewis and particularly Marstellar (who is really good on his feet) will be valuable competition in the room.

The lack of video is probably more strategic than lack of technology. I think an overall complaint in the wrestling community is the amount of tape that is out there for opponents to break down. Just my thought.

Tape exists on virtually every wrestler of note from the 8th grade on. That argument is so stupid. No streaming just hurts interest and recruiting.

I'm not sure I agree completely. Hopefully, our wrestlers have spent the offseason and pre-season acquiring new skills whether it be set ups, take down moves, escape moves etc. that won't show up on HS film. Why give opponents an advantage they don't have during a exhibition match?

Wrestle-offs now are nothing more than a fundraiser for outside tournaments. I have very mixed emotions regarding streaming/televising these kinds of matches. On one hand, it is an asset for those who live quite a distance away. However they are also the biggest culprit for why fewer local people go to the events. The negative may or may not offset the positives.

You can hear a mouse peep at wrestle offs now. Max 400 people attend and hardly anyone makes a sound. Pitiful really.

A man tries for a job as a blacksmith
"Do you have any experience in horseshoeing?"

"No, but I once told a donkey to f**k off."

Was hoping to see Dan Moran in the mix @141. Like his aggressiveness and offensive potential relative to other at this weight though haven’t seen Hines yet.
