I haven't seen an announcement yet.

The Brown and White online said a couple of days ago that the Ivy Leagues weren't allowing practice before Jan 1st, 2021. I saw the Ivy League's press release and I didn't read it that way -- sounds like practices are permitted in accordance with state and local rules. If practices were banned, it would mean that the Ivies would be unable to begin their seasons until mid-January at the earliest.

I wondered that also. It's not like the c and p are near each other.
He did say oil lamp. Maybe it's British Petroleum!

I just sat in on the EIWA coaches' meeting. There's not much definite information to share; lots of ideas on how to handle things but I think everyone feels like they're standing on quicksand. As Captain Kirk once said, we're debating in a vacuum and there aren't any answers.

I don't expect to see any competition prior to January 1st. Beyond that it'll be trying to figure ways to get guys as many bouts as possible, safely, in the limited time available.

Thy don't need as many bouts as possible if it's the same for everyone and it's beginning to look like it will be. Used to be 10-12 duals was all you had before qualifers.

Eight weekends, with some coaches unsure if their schools will allow multiple bouts per weekend due to safety concerns. Starters only? How do you then handle injury replacements? Will the NCAA drop the RPI bout requirement?
Is RPI even valid with ten or fewer bouts? Lots of questions, no answers.

Are you guys presuming the season ends when it always did?

At this time, yes. Until and unless the NCAA moves the tournament, what else can we do?

BP=Before Present=Before Jan 1. 1950. Radiocarbon Dating was developed at the University of Chicago in the 1940s (I don't know if it was in a squash court). But in the 1960's it was realized that anything dying after the unleashing of Nuclear Energy might be difficult to date. Other radioactive dating became similarly difficult. --- one could argue that the "Presen"t Should have been July 16, 1945. But there were only 5-6 Fission bombs in the 40s, so 1950/01/01.

I, of course, used BP because the first Pottery seemingly used in Oil Lamps was dated by radioactive means in China during the era often referred to as 2500-3500 BCE(BC)
