Hard to compare with Andy years at this point. Vastly different recruit strategies. Andy was adapting over the last few years but not to any great extent. One glaring change is that Andy tended to focus OOA recruiting to select areas. Fl then Ga then the Carolinas.
TG adopted FBS mode of recruiting. Shotgun offers and national coverage. We dont seem to focus on any one area. More recruits from the Left coast, Texas and New England than I can ever recall.

All successful recruiting starts local and expands. It's not as if PA NJ do not have talent. Gilmore is not the guy.

TG may or may not be "the guy" but his approach to recruiting is a welcome change from recent past, half the squad is from PA and NJ as would be expected but nationwide recruiting is absolutely needed to get the best student athletes possible, I for one am pleased to see a broader net being cast and bottom line is based on quality of commits
