Really good bounce back game after Bucknell.
Holy Cross went with a 4 guard lineup and Mariah ad Frannie really took advantage of the mismatch with the help of some excellent passing.

Some observations: Lehigh had 26 assists to 13 TOs again. This team seems much more disciplined than prior teams.
This year's freshman class is being brought on at a much different pace then the one 4 years ago but despite all the issues surrounding this season, they are a really efficient group

Kramer 40.6 FG 42.5 from 3 100% from the FT
Behar 60.0 FG 50.0 from 3 100% from the FT
Albrecht 58.3 FG 75.0 from 3 1 0f 2 from the FT

Just wondering if Emma got dinged in the second Bucknell game. She had a double/double in her return last Saturday but played only 13 min on Sunday and of course did not play today. Perhaps she just needs more time to grieve too.

In that Sunday Bucknell game, she got bopped on the nose while blocking a shot with about 3:30 left in the 2nd. Looked like the shooter's shoulder hit her nose - not violently. No foul. Over the next couple minutes, she checked her nose periodically to see if there was any blood but appeared to be OK and never asked out. At a stoppage in play with about 1:30 left, she was subbed out. Looked like the trainer might have been taking a look at her, but with the benches on the camera side this year, it was impossible to tell. In any event, she did not play in the second half.

It didn't look like anything serious, but you never know.

Yes...Lehigh got off to a big 1st quarter and held on nicely. Our frontcourt of Hottinger and Sexe took advantage of the mismatch IMO in a "big" way. Congratulations to both of them. Lafayette and Bucknell will continue to pose a bigger threat in this area.
IMO, this is Mary Clougherty's team which is saying something for a young lady who had not started a single game until recently. Today may have been her best game yet in this role. Yes, she was the PL player of the week in Week 1 by scoring a lot of points on a lot of shots against a post-oriented Lafayette team but today she scored 15 points on only 8 shots with 7 rebounds and 7 assists a block and a steal. This was on top of her 6 assist game yesterday. When she plays at this level, the entire team becomes really good. But that's just my opinion.

I want to publicly apologize for putting the TMH jinx on the 3 freshmen who went a combined 3-12 shooting including 1 for 7 from 3. That won't last though :-)

Kudos though to Maddie Albrecht who in 8 short minutes had 6 rebounds, 2 assists and a block in addition to her 2 points. That's efficiency.

Over on Cross board they are noting that LU is quicker and more athletic as well as more "experienced". Big shout out to all the underclass ladies. Amazing how fast they have adapted to college game. Kudos.
