Week-End Salvo
Recruiting can be nasty business. The power teams -- PSU, tOSU, Okal St, Iowa seem to collect multiple top-ranked talents year-in and year-out while many elite recruits are signed by other teams, they are more like 1 here and 1 there. Lehigh's Pat Santoro is a good recruiter. While LU does not typic...

Re: Post-Dated Week-End Salvo
The way I understand it, if the EIWA qualifies 4 top 30s at 165, then placing top 4 sends you to NCAAs. That is what's meant by 'stealing' a spot if you are not a top 33 guy. Is that correct? If so, then IMO Meyer has a good chance to qualify because he is wrestling well and improving as the season ...

Re: Post-Dated Week-End Salvo
Well, he did take down Vincenzo Joseph and it wasn't a counter move. And just lost to the defending EIWA champ 2-0. I'd say he's coming alone. It takes most freshmen about this long to figure it out. Besides, on a public forum, I'd rather be the poster accused of being too generous in my observations.

Post-Dated Week-End Salvo
Not that many people care, but the 'January Thaw' caused the WES to be MIA for a couple of weeks. That and traveling to Miami for anniversary. I definitely think we should petition The U to add men's wrestling and hold the EIWA tournament there every year. Harvard has a couple of nice kids this year...

Re: The New Assistant Coach
IMO, Paetzell will stay at 125. Why would he make the effort to move down just to move back up? He's now a viable AA candidate whereas at 133 he was not. I see Paetzell again at 125 while Seymour defers and gvets bigger.

Re: American / Navy Weekend
Karam's academic issue was/is University and not NCAA issue. So if he's 'probable' I suspect some meeting with a dean went well. That didn't work for Tsirtsis at Northwestern. >>>>>>>>> How about we lay off public discussion of anyone’s academic standing? Couldn’t be a more private matter. Thank you.

Re: Army Dual
>>>>>>> Not shown as a TV date on LU schedule. I'd be surprised if PLN carries it. Central location and plenty of seating to off-set any lack of TV. Will be a very competitive dual. Army is no joke.
