[Steelhawks] RE-VAMPED STEELHAWKS READY TO FLY POST BYE Carolina Cobras Journey to the Valley Allentown, PA: The Lehi

Post by News » Thu May 31, 2018 7:45 pm

Carolina Cobras Journey to the Valley Allentown, PA: The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks (0-6) will take on the Carolina Cobras (4-2) in this weekend’s contest on Embassy Bank Field inside the PPL Center. The Saturday night (June 2nd) game will kickoff at 7:05pm and will be Leukemia & Lymphoma Night presented by Capital Blue Cross. The game will be viewable locally on Service Electric Cable TV. The game this weekend will be the second time these teams faced off – in the first game, before the Steelhawks overhauled their roster and had a new head coach – Carolina dominated every side of the ball. They are led by veteran quarterback Charles McCullum who threw for seven touchdowns in the teams last meeting. Lehigh Valley’s roster has a lot of new faces since that first faceoff – OL Shawn Lockett returns to the lineup after spending the first part of the season in the AFL, QB Caleb Walton is now healthy after being injured, and DB Marquez Gollman is now wearing the Black and Vegas Gold after playing for Carolina in the team’s first meeting. In that game, Gollman recorded three interceptions and is looking to have a repeat performance this week, this time in favor the Steelhawks. Johnnie Lustig’s Keys to the Game for the Steelhawks: Create turnovers
Win the battle in the trenches
Convert in the redzone
The Steelhawks have another bye next week, and then will head to Maine and Massachusettes consecutively before returning to the ’Hawks Nest on June 30th to host the Jacksonville Sharks. Single game tickets, flex packs and 2018 season ticket packages are on sale now! Season ticket flex plans start as low as $32. Call 610-224-4625 to reserve your seats. All Steelhawks games are played on Embassy Bank Field inside the PPL Center. Visit the team web site at www.LVSteelhawks.com for the latest updates and recent Steelhawks news.
