HANNA ALDRICH, TAUNTON
The sophomore shortstop and Hockomock League All-Star was phenomenal in 2019, finishing with a .459 batting average. Aldrich hit eight homers while driving in 33 runs on the season, helping to lead the Tigers to a 23-3 overall record, and an appearance in the Division 1 South semifinals. A member of the 2018 softball state champion, Aldrich is a dual-sport athlete, also participating in winter track.

Trivia: Is this Fran's first softball recruit from Massachusetts?
I'll not lie though, anytime we can steal a recruit from Bucknell is a good day in my book.

Very impressive. Recall Fran saying the only difference between local players and West Coast girls was the amount of playing time. Recruiting does seem to have moved bit back to the East Coast.

Hanna recently set a new school record for HRs in a season with 12 (the old record was 10). The amazing part is that she did it in only 13 games.

She finished the regular season, leading the Tigers in batting average (.681), home runs (13), RBI (35), runs scored (26), at-bats (47), hits (32), and stolen bases.
