Brandon Spencer
Re: Brandon Spencer
Fordham broke the rule "need only scholarships" for what, four years, We could do that if this rule is held against our programs
Re: Brandon Spencer
I am not aware of a PL rule preventing us from having a transfer for a grad degree. If true, that stinks and makes no sense.
Re: Brandon Spencer
I hope Spencer's decision works out for him, but I've seen too many kids led down the primrose path by others who think the know better, when it was only for their ulterior motives. Delusions of grandeur have skewed many decisions.
Re: Brandon Spencer
LFN caught this today. Spencer has an opportunity at Iowa St. Phrasing identical to his OSU tweet so I assume as a PWO.
Re: Brandon Spencer
Ironically, Spencer did not choose Oklahoma St or Iowa St. as a PWO but instead went to Florida Atlantic. He then entered the transfer portal again and is now back in the Patriot League at Fordham.
Re: Brandon Spencer
Good Lord. What a journey. Hope he finds a place for himself.
Re: Brandon Spencer
Hope (Nate) found a place for himself in Coastal Carolina but I don't think he played yet
There are kids that are really talented but they listen to people whispering in their ears and wander around for years. I don't know if you remember Chris Favoroso who verbally committed to us but then de-committed because South Florida was providing those whispers. They never offered though so he went to a Community College in Arizona instead. From there it was Appalacian State where he did a redshirt. Then it was off to Montana for 1 year before transferring to Duquesne for his last 2 years. He could have been a real difference maker here but on we go.
