Postponed by the Patriot League. Now to be played the weekend of April 10th-11th, after Lehigh-Lafayette.

It would be a victory to just get game in with no new covid cases. Their defense was tough on pards only 15 yards rushing! Both their QBs played well. Should be a crisp beautiful day for game. I am most interested on our approach to moving the ball on offense and what have we been working on in last 3 weeks.

Any fans allowed? MLB allowing 20% or more, PA gov still have a strangle hold?

PA has been allowing about 25% recently. The issue has more to do with the Patriot League, I believe.

Wonder if staff will have enough time to put out game notes

Most of the game notes is boilerplate and we were initially supposed to play Bucknell last week so I don't see why not.

Then again...what do I know ? :-)

GAME NOTES up.

Shoup out. Somerville at 2 Troxell up to 2 at DT. Given that staff basically cleared the bench, the 2 deep really doesnt mean all that much. Note Dambach and Jorge still out.

Will LU have any semblance of an offense on Saturday??

Sure would help the O if Jorge and Dambach were suited

I'm still looking at this spring as being scrimmages preparing for next fall. With that being said, I would like to see Somerville get some meaningful minutes today. If my memory serves me well (it doesn't), he was considered a dual threat QB at his first HS but was transformed into a highly efficient passer in a run first offense at his last high school. If the offensive doesn't gel or Brissom continues to use the read-option, he may be the best fit but we'll never know unless he sees the field.

Just my opinion.

Really looking forward to this game despite the "spring nature". I was really impressed with Bucknell against Lafayette a few weeks ago. Bitikofer and Earle both looked like competent, and more, QB's against Lafayette. The Bison defense also brought a physical element to the game that reminded me of Bison teams of yore under Tom Gadd.

Hopefully Gilmore and Brisson are able to get the offense moving in the right direction. Need to identify the talent and develop it....

Really interested to see how prepared both teams look given the circumstances....
