Game Notes up

No changes on paper to the depth chart

Don't put a whole lot of credence to the depth chart. Not only were there significant difference but even alignments.
I don't think that coaches don't want to give aqway too much information. Just my opinion.

Let the predictions begin:

Is Lehigh as good as Howard? 38-14?

Watched the Richmond/Howard highlights on UR's website.

I dont think we appear anywhere near as non-competitive as Howard; we have way more athletes.
UR looks very solid, but not as big/athletic/fast as Nova at first glance.
Nova was clearly more talented than us, but spotting them multiple turnovers doesnt do much to keep score closer.

If we put some things together, learn from last week, and come to play, I think we'll have a happier message board post-game discussion, and more important, our team and staff get some positivity going forward.

Is their 'Flo' tv stream free or pay channel???

Flo is pay. I had an account in 2019 for a month, and I think I paid 7.99. Yesterday, I paid to reactivate. I saw 12.50/month on their website, but if you follow the link from the Richmond site, I found the CAA rate of 7.99, which I thought great, so I went that route. My credit card was immediately charged for a full year before there was any indication. I finally talked to a real person who said the special rate was only good for a full year. I explained that was not clear. He gladly said he would change my account to a single month for 12.50 and credit my card for the difference. Be careful!!

This won't help most people, but the Lehigh/Richmond game will be televised on NBC Sports Washington. (It will NOT be televised on NBC Sports Philadelphia.)

I looked at their tape also...their QB is a runner with good short passing skills. If we clean up the correctable mistakes on defense like contain on runs and poor angles on pass defense....and try to run the ball successfully more often...we should be able to hang a little closer to this group. They have a ton of 5th years kids also...turnovers as always will be a key factor.

While I don't believe Richmond is nearly as good as 'Nova (honestly surprised they're Top 25) the final score likely won't be much, if any better. Lehigh must protect the ball and establish some semblance of an offense to keep this within a 20 pt spread. The defense will once again struggle...
