Penn

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

On paper, this is a winnable game for Lehigh. But...it may take the defense and/or special teams to score.
A kickoff return for a touchdown was called back because of a penalty last week. They were that close

This should actually be a competitive game, on paper. Penn was manhandled by Dartmouth, have less size up front on both sides of ball. Their QB is prone to turning it over through 3 games.
Ours or theirs?

If LU doesn't (score a TD or) win a game all year, does it get the first pick in the lottery or an extra scholarship next year?

Or, it would be cool to see some promotion/relegation in American football.

28-17, Penn ...

Wow-17 points predicted could get me excited to drive to
Franklin Field on Saturday. Then I realized that it could be 5 field goals and a safety by the defense.

I'll go with Penn 31-10.

The Quakers aren't very good but we must understand just how awful Lehigh is. They lost 32-0 to Colgate....

Penn covers -18, Lehigh gets its first TD...

The bar is so low for Lehigh. A program built on Championships is now reduced to being happy scoring a TD. Cannot imagine being a recruit who is committed to, or considering, Lehigh.

watching the game right now on Cable

I never saw the Coaches and Players so exuberant..

They are happy what a Defense the Team has out there..lol. Too bad no points allowed when you stop the other team

The playcalling and zero QB play is pathetic..so if we don't win a game this year you cant expect us to recruit the best student athletes. Did we recruit anyone good? I have yet to see evidence of that. By this time Happy Gilmore should be giving every Frosh a chance tbh

However. the kid Fields just had a long gain for us..maybe a miracle today

OMG fumble lmao

If it makes you feel better, Lafayette is destroying Bucknell 24-0 in mid 3rd Quarter. So those that have been badmouthing Gilmore saying we should have hired Dave Checini should eat a little crow!!!

Bucknell offense looks as pathetic as ours & Dave is considered an offensive genius. Recruiting takes 3-4 years to build from the broken system that both New coaches inherited. Add the pandemic with no on site visits & both deserve another year or so in my opinion.
