Fordham

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Fordham Coffin Makers by 60. It is going to be a Halloween thrasher. Gilmore is dead man walking.
Was going to make drive into Bronx, but not worth the experience of how bad it is going to be. Fordham has put upn 21 points against DI schools. Thumped Bucknell and Wagner who are in relative Sagarin Ranking range as Lehigh. Fordham is getting better every week. LEHIGH not so much.

14-7 seven after 1. Inches from 17-7.

So first game I have seen. I work Saturdays. If we had lights I could have made a couple others, or at least watched them on the net. So

Can someone explain what changed today that made it possible, for what was previously a putrid offense, to gain over 500 yards and only have to punt once? I didn’t watch or listen to the game, but I gather the main reason we lost was because of turnovers.

We switched Jerseys with Lafayette's offense.

Ability to run the ball and control the LOS.

Well at least we have progress. Someone figured out which switch to flip. My question is how and why it took until week 8? Must have been Covid.

Perri is listed as starter.

I will root for a W. Not particularly optimistic. Would like to see some progress on O. A string of positive plays. Maybe even a successful drive or 2. 😀😞
Well, I got my wish. 😀😀 A spectacular game. A couple of bad fumble calls,a few mistakes, 2 missed FGs and a some ridiculous play calls in the red zone. Even so we controlled 3/4s of the game. What was different? Pared down playbook. Better OL play. Most importantly. A QB . Perri was outstanding. A much better ball handler. Quicker reads.Much better runner. What took so long. OC stuck with CW disregarding his performance. Perri only moved up the chart with the injury to CW and Nigel getting hurt.
Yeah I know I'm using hindsight. Dont care. How could a WO be our best QB? Guess this is somewhat similar to when we hadcto use a Punter as our QB.😂😂
