So at 2:42 PM, at the game, I observed a Rainbow. First I ever saw at a Lehigh gam. Partly because I don't think a true rainbow can occur more than 2 hours from sunrise or sunset.
Damn that game was cold, I was colder than the last game at Taylor
Georgetown
Re: Georgetown
Sunset today was 4:45 so close enough
Re: Georgetown
Hard to get youngsters to play tight man with the fear of getting burned and on top of that a wet field. There were several instances of DB's falling down on sudden cuts, for both secondaries. I see a lot of good athleticism in the secondary we have and hope they can be 'coached up' to play tighter.RichH wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 3:22 pm A W. Overall well played by O and D.
Agree 808. They played a cushion coverage way too much. 8-10 yd cushions made it just a pitch and catch for Hoya QB.
Give Pearson his due. Another mix and match OL that played pretty well.
Pards a better test I think and we will have to be better to get that W.

Got to remember the secondary is fairly young... more player time = better players.
Re: Georgetown

Re: Georgetown
#IMPOSSIBLE, unless you are aging quickly lol ... but I watched from the warmth of dry shelter.
(And I'll gloat while I can for my 24-10 prediction when the actual score was 23-9. Not perfect, but ... )
Re: Georgetown
1987 was just cold and windy. Easy to dress for that.
This was Rain. Nasty Rain. I did not wear a wet suit. Some of my wet gear was unavailable. Not a big deal but, band and cheerleaders totally disappeared at half. And 3/4 of fans left by the end of the 3/4 (by then the sun was out.
But we are all getting older. I experienced Taylor stadium for 21 years, now 34 at Goodman. Even More shocking, Stabler is now in its 43 year. Grace was exclusive to B-Ball and Wrestling for only about 37.
