Lafayette

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

At PL schools, there has to be a serious inquiry as to whether the candidate is truly aware of the restrictions under which they will be operating as well as the philosophy of athletics being a part of the academic experience.
To that point, since Bill Leckonby stepped down as Lehigh HC about 60 years ago there has been only 2 coaches (Dunlap and Small) who did not come from the Lehigh coaching tree and both them came from the Ivy League.

I wonder what the fallout will be at Lafayette. Since they are in mid recruiting season and they need to replace about 26 seniors (unless some opt for 5th yr), they may consider hiring from within. There is sure to be those dropping out with any coaching change.

Thought the play calling was just horrific on the Lafayette side. I think 3rd and 9 and 4th and 5 or 6 called simple handoffs. How many 4th downs did they fail on?
Rebuild time at Lafayette and prob long overdue.

Lehigh too? Sorry but think so.

Does TG repeat the mess of all those horrific losses next year?

Does the thrashing of 3 Scrub PL teams at the end of this season just Fools Gold?

Maybe the PL helps each other out with Roster rule changes going forward

Lehigh has four real opponents to kick off 2022: Villanova Monmouth Princeton and Richmond

Let's see if we win a couple here and stay competitive in the other two before Gilmore gets my Vote..3 out of four lopsided losses means we are just back to square one with this program tbh

That will also be the yardstick as to a chance to win a PL Championship

That's the grind and it has little to do with winning or losing on Saturday. Parents seem to be the ones who go into mourning over losses.
Played FBS ✔️….I hated losing. My teammates hated it too.

Such nonsensical “drivel” from someone who clearly enjoyed losing. Can’t say much more.

Peace out.

Interesting. Freeman has been working the new HC hore for a while. Garrett wouldnt be kept even if he won the Rivailry game.

Seems like Lafayette has a fascination with high familial name recognition. I wonder what the pay differential is for a special teams coach in FBS and a head coach at Lafayette. One site puts Polian's current salary at about $525K but I have no idea how true that is.
