A group of very large young men. :D. Our pool has quite a few OL prospects
Hope Lehigh can get a few good ones.

We had a really good group of OL last year but only Curatola saw action. I don't know whether injury was a factor or inexperience (making too many mistakes in practice).

Canelas is listed on the roster at 315# but I believe came in much, much heavier. Bryan is tall at 6-5 but at a listed weight of 270#, he may have been a bit too light. Both were rated as 3 star recruits and we don't get a lot of them.

Hopefully, they are both in a better place to contribute for next year.

Canelas has a huge upside but also a way to go. Mostly with his footwork. Dunno have specifics about Bryan. I might look at another project. Rena, the Bball player turned OLineman.

Actually 3 of our 10 listed commits are DL. Now for the other side of the ball. Just to confirm, football does not have to give full rides like basketball e.g. When Pat mentioned that scholarships can be applied differently in combination with other aid, I wonder if that applies here too or is the Patriot League still a stumbling block.

It appears that the Patriot League may have silently raised the roster size for a while due to the 5th year. I wonder if they silently raised the scholarship cap for the same reason.

The combined schollie and grant in aid bugaboo is a PL creation. Does not apply to wrestling. I would hope the PL would change their rule on the as well.

He has the movement skills that scouts like to see and can be recruited on either side of the ball. ... He is effective blocking on the move when pulling. ... He is light on his feet for a 265 pounder. ... He stays on his feet and knows how to keep his man in front of him when pass blocking. He shows outstanding body control and the quickness to mirror defenders in space. ... Philemon plays with good mobility and balance. He flashes the ability to shoot gaps and crash into the opponents offensive backfield at DT. ... He can pursue and track down runners in the flat.
